Who am I, and why am I here...

Well let me start of in saying hello. My name is Stephen B. Fraser and this is my own personal blog. I figured I would start 2014 out by doing one of the few things i have always wanted to do but never really committed to fully. So this is going to be my blog spot and I am not sure where this will take me or what topics I will blog about.

I guess I should start by telling you a little bit more about me. As you can imagine trying to describe myself is hard, It is probably hard for most people to do actually. That in part is because it is really hard to write something that encompasses ones entire personality. So with keeping that in mind I will do my best and honestly you will get a better idea of who I am by following my blogs.

So first off I am 41 and live in lovely North Idaho in the city of Post Falls.  I am currently employed as a healthcare professional in a Hospital in Spokane, WA. That of course is my real job, but I have many side jobs as well. The IRS called them hobbies until they realized I got paid for them and could tax me. I come from a large background of experience though I have held many positions in my career history and draw from my experiences in all of them. I have been a Chef, Car Salesman, Rodeo Bull Rider, EMT, Firefighter, Cashier, Wildland Firefighter, IT Technician, Telecommunications Specialist, Call Center Representative, Trainer, Nurse's Assistant, Manufacturing Specialist, Electrician, Medication Technician, Dementia and Alzheimer's Specialist, Home Health Aid, and Author. That is just the short list of course there have been many others. That doesn't include the things I classify as hobbies. Such as Fishing, Hunting, Online gaming, Cooking, Obstacle course racing, and Trail running to name a few.

As you can see like most people I have a wide variety of interests and experiences to draw from. This by no means makes me an expert in anything. I truly don't believe anybody can be an expert on anything and that is because everything constantly changes. I use to tell people I was a computer expert and without a doubt my computer experience is not only quite vast but very global. I know a lot about a large number of topics but I still run into things I have never seen before and have to do research. Am I an expert? Some may say I am, I for one choose to refer to myself as a specialist.

So what else is there to me I like music and will listen to just about anything that is out there. Mostly I tend to listen to the music it's self and not the words, although If the words of the song tell a story I can relate to it easily makes me listen. I have a dog that I enjoy having in my life. His name is Ollie. I suspect that there will be several pictures of him on here from time to time.

So what is going to be on my blog? Well like I said I'm an author. I have written four books to date and will probably offer select bits of things I am working on on my blog from time to time for you all to read. Hopefully you will also feel like commenting as well because I think constructive criticism is the best way to grow as an author. I will also do product reviews of things that I have used. Usually these will be longer in depth reviews than the ones I post on Amazon.com. There will be rants and raves about almost anything that might be irritating me that day. Warning these will probably tend to have colorful unpolitically correct words in them. As well as general musings from the life of an rather unconventional mind.

Can I guarantee that everything will be entertaining and insightful. Well no, nobody really can. But I can promise that I might entertain you, make you laugh, and make you think. Am I looking to change the world? Absolutely not I'm just trying to allow you to look at things from another side.

So I think I will sign off here... I look forward to your comments and questions.

-Stephen-
